In 2004 a man from Stoke-on-Trent, England, named Bryan Adams as the ‘other man’ in his divorce papers after years spent trying to cope with his wife’s obsession with the singer. Rob Tinsley said he had had to live with a 6ft cut-out of Adams which stood at the foot of the bed and posters on the bedroom walls.

Elvis Presley was a big Monty Python fan. His favourite film was The Holy Grail which was in his video recorder when he died.

As you may well have noticed, the website has been 'pimped' a little. We have been asking around and, frankly, you guys were a little unhappy! You wanted more and more, and it never seemed enough! Well, do you know you sound just like your Mother when you carry on like that? "Its not good enough" and "You never make time for me" and "use clearer fonts!"

Also, it seems some things were difficult to read. So hopefully we have stemmed the flow of discontent and youse will all enjoy the site a bit more and that. Thanks for the feed back!

And of course...Simply Dan, for providing the band with edge, rock, laughter and deeper knee bends than anyone anywhere, time after time...travelling and playing with you is always a ride...

To the venue owners/managers and agents for booking and (always) rebooking us. And for allowing us to make a little bit of money doing what we love doing.

To our families and loved ones for putting up with the weekends without us and listening to us relay the highlights through tired voices and red eyes.

With the season comes the gigs! We have been playing quite a few corporate functions over the last couple of weeks, ranging from comparitively sedate, low-key affairs, right up to a 300 strong room full of very excited accountants! I'm not making it up, huge gig Friday where the patrons were feeling very fiscal and festive! I've just added another 6 gigs to the calendar, including a return to our friends out west in V8 Mountain country. The Family Hotel in Bathurst is an old haunt of ours, so I was pleased to get the email from Dave saying we had picked up some shows for '12 out there. 

This weekend we once more hook up the trailer and head to the beautiful Hunter Valley region for Saturday night at Harrigans Irish Pub at Pokolbin. Ive said it before; its a tough job, but we are hardened to the task! If there is a call of duty to drive through lush Australian landscape, drink tasty wine, eat steak and wedges, and do what we love to do, then we have answered it! This is one of our favourite venues, so make an evening of it and come and see the band...drink the wine, eat the food, enjoy the atmosphere...some one has to do it!

This Saturday 26th November is part two of the double-shot of Suspects. We play live Again at The Oriental Hotel, Springwood, 2nd Saturday in a row. This is unusual for us, I personally haven't experienced this as yet, so we're hoping for an even better turn out this week to come and enjoy the music. Last Saturday was a great night, truly an enjoyable evening for both us and the crowd that attended. We go on around 8.30, so if you so choose you turn up earlier and have a drink at the large bar area or enjoy a delicious feed at the top-quality bistro. We had dinner before the gig, I enjoyed a "Sexy Salad" , one of the many very enjoyable meals on the menu, and, lets face it, the one with the most rock n roll name.

So we highly recommend coming out this Saturday night, have a refreshing drink, eat a tasty meal and listen to a cool band playing great music!
