The Royal This Weekend...

What a huge weekend! Friday night just gone we played for the first time at The Kent Hotel in Hamilton. Steve was off discovering alchemy or something, so Dave 'Barnesworth' Barnes was on hand to fill in for him. A fun venue; a good size crowd turned out to dance with us till the early hour.

Then we packed the trailer and headed to our stay in Cessnock, in preparation for a great night at Harrigans Irish pub in Pokolbin. There happened to be a jazz festival in the Hunter that weekend, so there were crowds of people in party mode, and party they did! Wow, what a great night! We felt like we were 'on it' from the first song and the crowd encouraged us with their enthusiasm and vigour.

This weekend coming up, 5th of November, we play The Royal Hotel in Springwood. This happens to be one of our favourite venues, we always get a great crowd and have a fun night, so come down and help us enjoy it! Steve Lacey is back from peace talks in Afghanistan (or whatever it is he does) so the Tunes promise to launch! We go on at night and play till 1am...
